The Pine Level Holiness Church will host a Golf Tournament on Friday, September 19th. The event will be held at the Cardinal Country Club. Registration begins at 12:00pm. The cost is $60 per person with first, second and third place prizes and a barbecue dinner after the tournament. Registration deadline is Friday, September 5th. Thanksgiving Baptist Church will have Harvest Day on  Saturday, September 20th beginning at 10:00am.  The church is located at 6701 NC Hwy 42, two miles east of the Buffalo Road intersection.  There will  will offer horseback riding, bounce houses, live music, Boy Scout and Cub Scout demonstrations, outdoor games and activities, a country store, antique tractor display and refreshments, including a hot dog lunch. Barbecue plates will be on sale from 4:30 to 7:00pm. The cost is $8 per plate. To order plates in advance, call 919-518-4308. An auction will begin at 7:30pm.

Mt. Calvary Holiness Church will hold a Yard Sale Saturday, September 20th, at Calvary’s Miracle Closet, 101 Smith St., Four Oaks. The sale will offer clergy robes and accessories, home furnishings, furniture and clothing for men, women and children. For more information, call 919-440-3330.

Warren's Chapel OFWB Church in Micro will observing its 90th Year Church Anniversary and Annual Homecoming Service on Sunday, September 21st at 11:00am. Revival Services will be held at Johnson's Chapel PFWB Church, located on Johnson's Chapel Church Road, Benson, beginning Sunday, September 21st and continuing through Tuesday, September 23rd. Burnell Baptist Church will host a Golf Tournament on Friday, September 26th at 1:00pm at Reedy Creek Golf in Four Oaks. The golf entry fee is $60  per person or $240 for a team of four players. Two cash prizes of $400 cash will be awarded in two separate Par 3 Closest to the Pin contests. There will be Red Bombs and Mulligans available. For more information, call Rev. Mt. Zion United Methodist Church will host its Annual Golf Tournament on Friday, September 26th at the Riverwood Golf Course on Riverwood Drive in Clayton. The four-person Captain's Choice Team Tournament begins at 1:00pm with a shot gun start. There will be a chance for a $100,000 shoot out and golfers will have the opportunity to win $10,000 for a hole-in-one. Entry fee is $70 per person and includes golf, cart use, refreshments and a meal. Entry is limited to the first 32 teams. All proceeds go towards the church building fund. Powhatan OFWB Church will hold its Semi-Annual Barbecue Chicken Fundraiser on Friday, September 26th from 11:00am until 7:00pm. The church is located on Devil's Racetrack Road near Four Oaks. The revival services begin Sunday night and run through Wednesday, October 15th. The Sunday service begins at 6:00pm and the Monday through Wednesday services begin at 7:00pm.
