Bethel Original Free Will Baptist Church will be presenting a Greet and Treat on Friday, October 31st, from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm. There will be trunks and tents filled with goodies for all ages, plenty of hot dogs and marshmallows to roast, and lots of family fun and fellowship. Bethel OFWB Church is located at 3168 NC 96 South, Four Oaks.

Bethany Missionary Baptist Church will be hosting a Trunk or Treat on Friday, October 31st at the church, 8980 Old Beulah Road, Kenly. Supper will be served at 5:45 with activities beginning at 6:30. Activities will include Christian themed trunks, cake walk, face painting, games, crafts, and a hay ride.

Smithfield Church of God will be having a Harvest Festival on Friday, October 31st starting at 6:00 pm. - until Join us for an evening of games, food, fellowship, music, hot dogs, desserts, music and hay-rides. The church is located  at 1710 West Market Street in Smithfield.

The Awakening Church in Smithfield will have a Free Fall Festival Trunk or Treat on Friday, October 31st from 6:30pm to 9:00pm. There will be games, hot dogs, inflatables, hay rides and more. This is a free event for all ages. For more information, e-mail mrobbins07@gmail.com.

Pine Level Pentecostal Holiness Church will have a Free Halleluiah Festival Trunk or Treat on Friday, October 31st from 6:00 to 8:00 pm. There will games, hot dogs, inflatables, snow cones and more. This is a free event for all ages and public is welcome.

Trunk Or Treat will be held at Wilson's Mills Baptist Church, located at 652 Swift Creek Road between Smithfield & Wilson's Mills, on Friday, October 31st from 6:00pm - 8:00pm.

Corinth United Methodist Church will have a Trunk 'R Treat on Friday, October 31st at 5:00 to 7:00 pm. Bring children for safe Trick or Treating in our parking lot. We will have a free hot dog supper. The church is located at 4170 US 301 N in Four Oaks.

Smithfield Church of God will have a BBQ Chicken Plate Sale on Saturday, November 1st from 11am-7pm. Eat in or take out plates will be available for $7 each. The church is located at 1710 West Market Street, Smithfield.

Watery Branch Free Will Baptist Church, located at 424 Watery Branch Church Road in Stantonsburg will have their Harvest Day on Saturday, November 1st beginning with breakfast at 6:00am. There will be BBQ Chicken or BBQ Pork Plates for $7 each available for eat in or take out from 4:00pm - 6:00pm. There will be crafts and a country store as well as an Auction at 6:30pm.

Four Oaks United Methodist Church on North Church Street in Four Oaks will have their General Store on Saturday, November 1st from 7:30am - 7:00pm. There will be a Yard Sale from 7:30am - 12:00pm, as well as a Turkey & Ham Dinner from 4:00pm - 7:00pm. Plates will be $8 each. For more information, call 919-608-1019.

The Brotherhood of Burnell Baptist Church will sponsor a BBQ Plate Sale on Saturday, November 1st  from 4:00 to 7:00 pm. The plates are $7 each and available for eat in or take out. Proceeds will benefit the youth ministries. For more information call 919-894-1418.

On Saturday, November 1st, Wilson's Mills Baptist Church, located at 652 Swift Creek Road between Smithfield & Wilson's Mills, will have their 16th Annual Harvest Festival. There will be BBQ Sandwiches for sale from 11:00am - 2:00pm and Chicken Pastry Plates for sale from 4:30pm - 6:30pm. A Silent Auction, Craft Room & Baked Goods Room will open at 11:00am. Harvest Day will be held at Stewarts Chapel Pentecostal Free Will Baptist Church on Saturday, November 1st. BBQ Pork & Fried Chicken Plates will be $8 each, available for eat in or take out. Plates will be for sale from 4:00pm - 7:00pm with an Auction at 7:00pm.

Antioch Baptist Church WMU will have a Yard Sale on Saturday, November 1st from 7:00 am until 2:00 pm. Come for the food - come for the "stuff"!! Lots of great community donated items for young and old, plus we'll be selling sausage biscuits and hot dogs. All funds go to WMU projects such as Backpack Buddies for local Elementary Schools, Missions Trips, Funeral meals and other needs for our community, state, nation and world. Hickory Grove Advent Christian Church will have a fund raiser for Jaylen's Journey “Gaither Style” on Sunday, November 2nd at 6:00 pm.  Several groups will be performing, Hickory Grove Quartet, The Hockadays, The Blue Grass Boys, Masters Call and The Hockaday Trio. There will also be a cake auction and a silent auction. All proceeds will be donated to Jaylen Stanley.

The Joy Connection November meeting will be held at Smithfield First Presbyterian Church Fellowship Hall on Thursday, November 6th at 12:00 noon. Lunch will be served. Art Andrews who will be speaking about the famous Cole pottery that had its beginnings in Smithfield. If you have a piece of Cole pottery please bring it to the meeting for others to see. DivorceCare Surviving The Holidays will help those coping with separation and divorce learn practical, effective strategies to help you make it through the holidays and discover a job amidst the heartache. The special workshop will be held held on Friday, November 7th at Horne Memorial United Methodist Church from 6:30pm-8:30pm.  During the same time, Surviving The Holidays 4 Kids seminar, designed for children ages 5 to 12 cope with changes in their holiday routines as a result of separation or divorce, with a focus on Jesus’ love for them, and the true celebration of Christ’s birth.

Mount Pleasant Presbyterian Church will hold our 29th Annual Barbecue Fundraiser on Friday, November 7th from 11:00 am until 7:00 pm. We will serve pork barbecue plates for $8.00. A Turkey Shoot sponsored by the Men's Brotherhood of Stewarts Chapel PFWB Church will be held on Friday, November 7th and Saturday. November 8th from 7 pm – 11 pm each night. Ham, Turkey and Gun Boards will be available. The Ladies Auxiliary will be selling food and drinks. All proceeds Friday night will benefit Jaylen Stanley of Four Oaks.

Four Oaks Church Of God is sponsoring a Food Drive on Saturday, November 8 from 9:00 am to 12 noon to collect food for local families during the holidays. Rapture House,  a free walk through drama, will be presented by Garner Free Will Baptist Church on Friday, November 7th and Friday, November 14th from 7:00 pm until 11:00 pm, Saturday, November 8th and Saturday, November 15th from 6:00 pm until 10:00 pm and Sunday, November 9th and Sunday, November 16th from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm by reservation only. The United Methodist Women will hold their annual Holiday Bazaar on Saturday, November 8th from 8am until 12 Noon at the Centenary United Methodist Church, located at 140 East Market Street, Smithfield. There will be breakfast, crafts, baked items, artwork, vendors, and casseroles. All proceeds will support missions.

New Bethel Church, located at 2110 Benson Road, Garner will hold a Crafts Sale on Saturday, November 8th.

Ebenezer United Methodist Church is having its annual Chicken Pastry Dinner on Saturday, November 8th from 11:00 am until 2:00 pm and from 4:00 pm until  6:00 pm with Harvest Sale starting at 6:30. Plates are available for eat in or take out.

Pisgah Baptist Church will hold its annual BBQ and Bazaar on Saturday, November 8th from 11:00 am until 2:00 pm.  The cost is $8.00 per plate for barbecued chicken, boiled potatoes, green beans, dessert and roll.  Tickets may be purchased in advance or at the door and you may eat in, take out or drive through. Calvary Freewill Baptist Church will hold Revival Service starting on Sunday, November 9th and continuing through Wednesday, November 12th. Service will be held at 6:00 pm on Sunday night and 7:00pm Monday through Wednesday nights. There will be special singing each night. Rev. Terry Dennis will be the guest speaker. Kenly Apostolic Church will have Revival Services on Thursday, November 13th and Friday, November 14th at 7:30 pm and on Saturday, November 15th at 11:00 am. The speaker will be Rev. Lee's Chapel Advent Christian Church will have a Revival starting Friday, November 14th at 7:30 pm, and on Saturday, November 15th with seminars from 9:00 until Noon and evening service at 7:00 pm and on Sunday, November 16th at 11:00 am. Wilson's Mills Church of God will hold Revival Services with speaker Duane Pooler of Worthington Springs, Florida Sunday, November 9th through Sunday, November 16th. Banner Chapel Church is hosting a Country Breakfast on Saturday, November 15th from 7:00 am to 10:00 am in the church fellowship hall. This event is sponsored by the Mattie Beasley and Edna Phipps Societies and The Men's Group. Proceeds go to the Honduras Mission Team. Please join us, we are accepting donations only.

Smithfield Church of God will be having Revival Services with Western North Carolina State Evangelist Bishop Randal Philips Sunday, November 16th through Wednesday, November 19th. Services  will be held on Sunday at 10:45 am and  6:00pm and Monday through Wednesday at 7:00pm. The church is located  at 1710 West Market Street in Smithfield.

Oakland Presbyterian Church will be having its 5th Annual Church Bazaar on Saturday, November 22nd from 8:00 am to 2:00 pm. There will be craft and food items available from 40+ vendors.  Breakfast and lunch items will be available for eat-in or take-out. LOGOS, a faith-based program of education and fun for children and youth, has launched at Providence Presbyterian Church, 14664 NC Hwy 210 near McGee’s Crossroads. Meetings are from 5:00 to 7:00pm on the first and third Sundays of the month. An adult Bible study meets at 5 p.m. on those Sundays.
