White Oak Baptist Church in Archer Lodge will have its annual Bazaar on Friday November 21st, at 6:00 pm  with a choice of soups, sandwiches, hotdogs and desserts for sale until 7:30 pm. The Craft and Baked Goods Sale will be from 6:30 until 8:30 pm. Selected larger items will be featured on the Silent Auction from 6:00 to 7:30 pm. The event will be held at the Archer Lodge Community Center located at  14009 Buffalo Road (right across the street from the church). The proceeds go to mission projects. Princeton Church of God Of Prophecy is having a BBQ Chicken Dinner on Friday, November 21st from 4:00-7:00 pm. Eat in or take out plates are $8 each. The church is located at 1720 Old Hinton Road. For more information call 919-936-2657.

Pisgah Baptist Church will hold a Turkey Shoot on Saturday, November 22nd from 6:00 to 10:00 pm.  All proceeds will be used to fund ministry programs within the church.  Please come and enjoy food, fun and fellowship.  The church is located at 3689 NC Highway 210 in Smithfield.  For additional information, please call the church at 919-934-8048 or 919-934-3437. 

Elizabeth United Methodist Church will hold our annual Turkey Shoot on Saturday, November 22nd, from 5:00 to 10:00 pm. This is a family friendly event - no alcohol or bad language permitted. Come out and join us for this popular event. The cost is $4 per shot, or 6 shots for $20, for a chance to win a turkey. No, we do not shoot turkeys, we shoot at targets for chances to win turkeys! The ladies of the church will be selling refreshments, including chili, hot dogs, hamburgers, chips, baked goods, coffee, hot chocolate, and cold drinks. Oakland Presbyterian Church will be having its 5th Annual Church Bazaar on Saturday, November 22nd from 8:00 am to 2:00 pm. There will be craft and food items available from 40+ vendors.  Breakfast and lunch items will be available for eat-in or take-out. Babysitting will be provided by the Youth for donations with a 2 hour maximum per child. The church located at 8927 Cleveland Road, Clayton. Fellowship Baptist Church will host a Free Community Concert on Saturday, November 22nd at 7:00 pm. Featured group will be the brother-sister southern gospel quartet The Taylors. Beulah Baptist Church will have their annual Harvest Day Sale on Saturday, November 22nd from 11:00 am until 7:00 pm. A drive through will be open until 6:30 pm. The meal will consist of Barbeque and Chicken Pastry at $8 per plate. An auction sale will start at 7:00 pm with all donations going to the building fund. Ebenezer Presbyterian Church is hosting its annual fall Harvest Day Sale on Saturday, November 22nd, from 11:00 am to 7:00 pm. BBQ chicken and BBQ pork plates ($8.00 each) will be available on the premises and as carry-out. Drive-through service is available. Crafts and homemade baked goods will be sold throughout the day. A uniquely designed handcrafted quilt will be raffled. Donations are $1.00 per ticket. You do not need to be present to win. Wilson's Mills Baptist Church will have a Community Thanksgiving Service on Sunday, November 23rd at 7:00 pm. The church is located at 652 Swift Creek Road, between Smithfield & Wilson's Mills. Everyone is invited to attend.

Piney Grove Chapel Baptist Church will feature The Taylors in concert on Sunday, November 23rd at 6:00 pm. The church is located at 4440 Piney Grove Road, five miles East of Angier, just off Hwy 210. The Ambassadors will be in concert at Lanwood Chapel Free Will Baptist Church on Sunday, November 23rd at 6:00 pm. A love offering will be taken. The church is located at 3066 Buffalo Road, Smithfield.

Maskil Fellowship Church will have a Healing and Blessing Service on Sunday, November 23rd at 6:30 pm with Rev. Jim Whittington and Dr. Freddie Powell. The church is located at 2227 Milburnie Road, Raleigh.

The First Baptist Church of Smithfield will be serving Thanksgiving Dinner on Thursday, November 27th from 11:00 am until 1:00 pm at the Ministry Center located on 125 South Fourth Street in Smithfield. The menu includes turkey, dressing, gravy, green beans, sweet potatoes, rolls, assorted desserts, tea, coffee or water. There is no charge and delivery is available for the home bound in the Smithfield area. Call the church before Tuesday, November 25 to arrange for delivery.

Friendship Baptist Church will have a Fifth Sunday Night Singing on Sunday, November 30th at 6:00 pm. The guest group will be Black Creek Bluegrass Gospel from Benson. A love offering will be taken. The church is located one-half mile south of McGee's Crossroads, just off Highway 50, on Greenleaf Road.

Hickory Cross Gospel Center will have a Gospel Concert featuring David and Judy George on Sunday, November 30th at 6:00 pm. The church is located at 3713 Hickory Cross Crossroads in Kenly.

Smithfield Advent Church will have a Live Nativity on Friday, December 5th and Saturday, December 6th from 6:00 pm – 8:00 pm and Sunday, December 7th from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm. Stewart Theater is hosting a Southern Gospel Christmas Concert featuring The Dixie Travelers, The Oak Grove Boys and The Heart's Song Quartet on Saturday, December 13th. Bethesda Baptist Church invites you to come and experience the excitement of Awana on Wednesday evenings from 6:30 – 8:00 pm. LOGOS, a faith-based program of education and fun for children and youth, has launched at Providence Presbyterian Church, 14664 NC Hwy 210 near McGee’s Crossroads. Meetings are from 5:00 to 7:00pm on the first and third Sundays of the month. An adult Bible study meets at 5 p.m. on those Sundays. The Smithfield Church of God's Men's Ministry hosts a Community Breakfast on the First Saturday of each month. A buffet breakfast is served from 8:00am to 9:00am. Burnell Baptist Church on Old School Road near Four Oaks will have Girls In Action (GAs) and Royal Ambassadors (RAs) programs on Sunday nights at 6:00pm for children in 1st-6th grades.
